Copper tacks are the hallmark of a Shaker box. We manufacture nine sizes on 150 year old machines obtained from the W.W. Cross Co. in 1991 when they ceased operations. Several of our sizes (the #3/4, the #2 ¼, and the fixed handle tack) have been made by us specifically for the oval box trade, along with the copper shoe peg that went out of production when shoemakers stopped hand making shoes. We sell packages with one ounce, small sizes are the same approximate count as larger ones, but weigh less, and a collection called the TAC PAC with wood pegs to make about 80 boxes.
