Ameture woodworker for over 50 years - always adding something new. That was how I justified a new tool to my wife - "I need it to make that new ______ for you."

Fasinated with the Shaker Workmanship since we did a tour of several Shaker villages in the New England area.

I take the time to build expandable forms similar to what I saw on one of those trips.

The modified shoehorn is what I use to set the copper tacks on the band.

John and Eriks shop is the best place I've found for blanks. I've played with trying to resaw my own but I keep going back to them for supplies.
